To being, open your Gmail account and click Settings.
Now navigate to Account tab and click on Add Another Email Account as shown in the screenshot.
This will open a pop-up window and enter your email address there and click Next Step. The best thing about Gmail is that it will automatically detect the POP server and Port as you can see from the screenshot below.
If you want to leave a copy of an email that Gmail retrieves on your other email account, then select the Leave A Copy Of Retrieved Message On The Server checkbox. If you want all your incoming emails to skip Inbox and go straight to Archive then select the Archive Incoming Messages checkbox. After you are done click Add Account.
If you want to be able to send mail as the email you provided, then select Yes as shown in the screenshot below. You can always change the settings later.
In the next and final step enter the name that you want to use when sending mail and you are done.
One big drawback of the email accounts you add is that they will be checked by Google on periodic basis. Even if you don’t want to make Gmail your email-client-of-choice, it’s gigantic space can still be used for making permanent backups. Start adding your accounts now, and if you face any problem, do let me know
